Tournament News:
The Florida International Water Polo Tournament @FAST in Ocala was a huge success for our 14u and 12u teams! Both teams were runner-ups in their respective categories.
Thank you to all of the coaches and parents that helped make our Easter weekend a successful and memorable one that also included a fun post-game egg hunt.
Trident Cup News:
Our very own Trident Cup is right around the corner. We are going to need all hands on deck to ensure that our tournament is going to run as smoothly as possible. Please be on the lookout for a volunteer sign up sheet that will be coming out very soon.
Note: For those parents who do volunteer, they do not have to pay the $60 tournament fee for their athletes.
Junior Olympics
We are also in the middle of planning our Junior Olympics trip to Dallas, Texas. We currently have four teams going:
18u Boys
16u Girls

Scholarship News
We are proud to introduce Team Orlando WPC’s new scholarship program for graduating seniors. We are proud of the way our club has grown in the last four years and even prouder that we can now give back to our athletes who have demonstrated leadership and distinction through dedication.
The recipients will need to meet our club’s outlined criteria which includes:
Current high school senior
Demonstrated academic achievement
Involved in community activities
Be in good standing with the club
More information will be available soon.
Coach Spotlight:
Team Orlando is excited to announce a few additions to our wonderful coaching staff:
Coach Fred Rojas, graduate of Olympia High School.
Our Junior athletes have been excited to have him around at the pool!
What’s more, three Team Orlando alums are coming home from Iona University to help contribute their skills and expertise during our summer program:
Coby Scanlon, Olympia High School graduate of 2022
Daniel Raz, West Orange High School graduate of 2024
Ryan Tannus, Dr. Phillips High School graduate of 2024
Also, please note that the Open Men’s practices on Monday and Thursday evenings are not affiliated with Team Orlando Water Polo Club. Any athlete under the age of 18 will have to be a member of the Rosen Aquatic Center to join the Open Men’s games.
We also highly encourage parental supervision for all minors during practice times.
If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Coach Ori.
See you at the pool!
